My symphonic poem, 'Sylvia's Lullaby', describing my grandmother's eventful life story, will receive no less than two Irish performances this coming July in Limerick and Kilkenny.
The National Youth Orchestra of Ireland, made up of some of the country's most talented young players, will be conducted by Ruth Reinhardt. The concert will also feature Sibelius's Symphony No. 2 and Schumann's Piano Concerto with Fiachra Garvey as soloist.
